Water ionizers produce artificially alkaline water and AquaLiv Water System produces naturally alkaline water. Water ionizers have a range of alkalinity levels. AquaLiv Water System produces alkaline water between 8-9.5 pH. AquaLiv Water System does not let you select different pH ranges, it is only one stream and one alkalinity.

Safety

AquaLiv water is safe for everyone including children and pets and it does not react to medications. Water ionizers are not safe for everyone to drink and certain medications should not be taken with water produced by water ionizers. AquaLiv Water does not cause any side effects. Water ionizers have been scientifically proven to cause side effects.

Maintenance

The AquaLiv Water System requires filters to be replaced only once per year at a maximum cost of $99 per year. Water ionizers have filters and ionic plates that require replacement. Typical annual maintenance cost for most water ionizers is higher.

Storability

Water ionizers produce water that cannot be stored for a long period of time. Its properties diminish over time. AquaLiv Water can be stored for up to two years and its pH and other properties will remain the same.

Toxins

The AquaLiv Water System removes most toxins and chemicals from source water, including fluoride.
